Virtual Dispatch

Out on a pond is the place to be, enjoying the sunshine peacefully. Most days on that lily pad right there, sits a frog with an unusual stare. Jumpy and slimy and a little crazy too, and doing things a frog will do. This isn’t the first time that frog has been off the grid. And not the only time, he’s been cleverly hid.

Anyone who knows this tale, knows where that jumpy frog must be. However, it is best to go about this carefully. For once upon a time powerful forces were at play. And that slimy frog was here just yesterday. Furthermore, it’s true this Kingdom is filled with mystery. Not to mention a long line of unusual history.

Therefore it’s not easy to say, where that jumpy frog is hopping today. However, just like in the days of old that frog is jumpy and bold. And one thing is most likely true, that jumpy frog is somewhere near you know who. For after all this time, not much has changed. Even after everything was rearranged. A jumpy frog never gave up hope. Although it was a slippery slope.

Now, back at the Royal Castle, and something is surely awry. Did anyone else hear an urgent cry? All along the concourse things appear normal and routine. In fact, it is so peaceful it’s almost serene. Down through the halls of the Royal Castle, not a soul can be seen. All the rooms are empty, as are the hallways in between.

The Hidden Zone Hopper

What has happened in the Royal court to cause such distraction? Furthermore, where is all the action? No advisors or counselors, nor any royal jester in the great hall. The Castle is empty, and that’s not all. Although unheard of, and completely taboo…the throne room is empty too.

A hidden zone hopper, searching through and through. Nevertheless, staying hidden, is the best thing to do. All it takes is one castle guard villain, to make a flying cartwheel nightmare come true. And this jumpy frog is more than just passing through. He came with a purpose, and a mission too. And this was still the Castle of the lovely Princess. As far as he knew.

And again that urgent unexpected cry, but now much closer by. Down by the forest, a large crowd cries out and cheers. And the slimy frog can’t believe his tiny frog ears. Hidden well, but captivated by that beautiful sound, the hidden zone hopper can’t believe what he’s found.

Captivated and mesmerized when he hears her lovely voice. A jumpy frog with no other choice. Rooted to the spot with affection so deep, he didn’t even notice when the villain castle guard put him to sleep. Not till he woke up in the castle dungeon did it sink into his head. Indeed, he felt stunned at what the Lovely Princess said.

New Challenge

A memory flashback from a locked up frog’s point of view.

All the kingdom gathers around, as there arises a beautiful, and melodic, sound. The lovely Princess and an announcement to the kingdom one and all. It seems they are building a Royal Concert Hall. “All are welcome, and when the building is done, the Royal Concert Hall will be for everyone.”

“Furthermore, to get things started just right, there will be a talent show on opening night.”

And now the part that rooted a frog to the spot, the thing that gave a villain castle guard his shot.

The lovely Princess -“All are welcome, and everyone who tries, will have a chance to win the extra special, grand prize.”

*Whack!* And cue the dungeon once again. I sometimes think that jumpy frog will never win. But he saw just enough to know what he must do. And that will most likely happen in part two.
