The best driver rating is earned with consistency.
It’s another delivery. The queue is handing them out as quickly as possible. Furthermore, the dinner rush is picking up steam. This is when a stacked delivery can make (or break) the bank. However, if the queue is set on single delivery drop-offs, that will also work. In fact, it might improve the ratings to keep things consistent for a few deliveries. Especially the driver rating.
If the driver rating isn’t readily available when searching the app it might be because there isn’t one. There are several. The driver rating is a combination of ratings, that form an average. For example, there is the on-time rating. Furthermore, that particular rating covers several areas. There is on-time for the pick up. There is also on-time for the drop off. When a courier is consistent with these ratings, it improves the overall driver rating. Similarly the accuracy of the courier is another rating.

Courier accuracy is all about attention to detail. Special notes and special instructions, are a part of the accuracy rating. Those details are customer requests. And later, after the delivery, the app will want to know how well the courier did. This is when those separate details will come together to form a rating of the courier. Additionally, the courier’s timing and attention to detail will matter greatly at this stage of the delivery process.
The Best Driver Rating
With this in mind, each step of the process is as important to the courier as it is to the delivery customer. Furthermore, since each part of the courier’s service will be evaluated, it is critical to provide attentive and timely service. It makes a difference. For example, hot food, instead of lukewarm or almost cold food. The hot food signals that the courier moved with purpose. Or stayed within the timing of the delivery steps.
It’s the quality of the delivery cargo, when it reaches the drop-off location. This is the quality delivery that helps. It inspires better than average ratings. The driver rating in particular. Furthermore, as mentioned earlier, the driver rating is a combination of ratings. A late drop-off will still cause a ding in the ratings. Even if it’s part of a stacked delivery. Therefore, it’s smart to carefully consider stacked offers. If the additional pickup stalls, the entire delivery could suffer. The courier would gain the double, but risk the rating.

The app will not cut the courier slack because the additional delivery is not ready for pickup. The courier will have to wait at the second pickup location. Meanwhile, the original delivery offer sits cooling in the ride outside. This means the entire delivery is now waiting for an add on. If the second pickup stalls for an extended time, the courier’s rating on the first delivery offer, will suffer. This is one reason why it’s important to thoroughly study the additional offers before accepting it.
Earned With Consistency
The consistency in deliveries brings the average ratings into the mix. When a courier gets consistently positive ratings, it helps balance the bad ones. This is how consistency makes a difference. Going the extra mile? Putting in a little extra effort? It’s worth it in the long run. The tip may be small today, but over the course of time it will improve as the courier’s reputation for consistency does. In fact, this is another example of courier accuracy.
When taken as a whole, the ratings add up. The driver rating is a combination of all those other ratings adding up. Furthermore, this is in regard to the delivery app. Many crew couriers actually have a driver rating. Similarly, it ties in with the brand the crew has employment from. Same idea, but the process is slightly different. Stay safe out there.
