Rating a safe delivery for a better delivery experience

Rating a safe delivery for a better delivery experience

The topic is ratings. Delivery ratings to be precise. Beginning with this link, there are a few articles, on this site, covering this topic. There are more than a few delivery ratings. And the courier is the subject of most of them.

With this in mind, it is refreshing when the courier has a chance to do the rating. A safety rating. Furthermore, this rating is important for the courier, and future couriers. It is simple and easy. However, it is not available on every delivery.

In fact, the rating appears to be delivery specific. In other words, the type of delivery. For example, the alcohol delivery. The alcohol delivery is a multi step delivery. Additional input from the courier is needed at the drop-off.

There is also a verification process. The courier must confirm the identification of the delivery customer. This means prolonged customer contact. Additionally, the courier must be observant. An inebriated drop-off customer, is not a valid delivery recipient for alcohol. Even with a valid ID.

The process for validating ID is quick and handled in the app. After meeting all criteria, the delivery is complete. Then the courier will be able to clear the details from the dispatch screen. This toggles the query.

It’s a few questions asking about the previously completed delivery. Specifically, the courier’s comfort with how safe the delivery felt. Next, there are a couple of questions asking the courier’s opinion of the delivery. Ideas for improving the type of delivery may also be requested.

At this point the queries come to an end. Now the courier can resume the delivery shift. It should be noted, the process for rating the safety of a delivery, doesn’t happen often. Furthermore, it’s quick. Answering the questions honestly, helps improve the delivery experience.

Adding a safety rating to a delivery is a benefit to other couriers. The feedback creates the possibility of a better delivery experience, for the next courier. Stay safe out there.
