Delivery driving means many hours on the road. It will include time spent sitting in traffic, at red lights and dodging road obstacles. Safe driving is important and not only keeps the courier safe but also other drivers.
It is also important to stay alert while behind the wheel. One hundred percent of the time is best, but 100% will also work in a pinch.
Unexpected obstacle
Road construction zones and work zones are especially important to navigate while very alert. Summer is already passing the halfway point, and soon school zones will be another important area to be extra attentive.

In the upside down pic, it is an empty vehicle, that was once on the semi truck in the center lane. Behind the semi is another vehicle with severe front end damage. It appeared that no one was seriously injured and first responders were on the scene.
An unexpected road obstacle can take any form and is best managed by observing the posted speed limits and staying alert.
Night driving is the time when staying alert is the most important. With less light to illuminate unexpected obstacles and surrounding conditions, attentive driving is paramount. In every road condition, staying alert is safety conscious and considerate. Stay safe out there!
