    What’s in a better customer rating?

    The customer rating is next on the list of important ratings. The customer rating or, customer satisfaction rating, is top level important. It matters in top level awards and tiers. It matters in other ways as well. Additionally it is one of the best tools the courier has.

    With this in mind, it’s a good idea to examine the customer rating process, every once in a while. For example, what’s in a better customer rating? It’s easy to overlook the finer details of a delivery. Yet they are there. Things like pick-up times or drop-off times. Three minutes late is still late.

    There are also communication points. Or, places where communication is very important. These are also a part of the customer rating. In fact the entire delivery from pick-up to drop-off is a matter of customer experience. Not only is the customer experience being graded but also, so is the courier.

    Furthermore, the points do matter. In fact, with some apps those points are the difference between higher earnings and better offers. Respectively. Indeed, with better offers comes an improved earnings outlook.

    The customer rating has many details. These vary from app to app. Not only are they part of a bigger picture but also important to the customer experience. Things like on time pick-ups are rated here. Or courier politeness and helpfulness. Any, or all, of these things can be graded.

    One very important metric is the rating for how well the courier follows the delivery instructions. The special delivery instructions are there for a reason. Indeed, the success or failure of a delivery can be down to those instructions.

    For example, it is a no contact delivery. The instructions are to leave at the door. The side door. Leaving this cargo at the front door, is the wrong door. The chances for the delivery to go bad are greater when the special instructions are overlooked.

    Improved Stats

    When a delivery goes bad, so too can the customer rating. The courier is the final actor in the delivery. The last one, holding the bag, so to speak. When anything is out of order on the order it’s a good bet the courier will likely feel the heat. As well as take the wrap. Stay safe out there.
