The Waiting Window and Pause Button in the Rush

With an increase in business comes an increase in crowds. When a courier is working a rush window it is likewise possible to encounter a waiting window.
Over the last couple of years the apps, along with merchants, have come a long way in prioritizing and timing deliveries. Although once, it was a given that there would be a wait for cargo to be readied, now it’s not.
Waiting Window
When a courier encounters a wait during a rush, it is important to locate the cargo. Merchant staff will alert the courier, if the cargo is still being prepared. Furthermore, it is possible for the courier to wait for the cargo, in the merchant establishment.
There are a few good reasons to stay close to the cargo. For instance, the cargo is ready before the courier comes back. Locating the cargo is important because the courier will be able to begin the delivery immediately after receiving the cargo.
Additionally, if the courier is outside when the cargo is ready to go, then the cargo is in a waiting window. Waiting in a merchant establishment has perks, for example, air conditioning, and sometimes the merchant has several flat screens with sports. The courier can catch the score along with a delivery.
Pause Button
Finally it’s the pause button. The delivery apps have one and it’s useful in several ways. Firstly, gas stops. It’s important to note, the pause button, doesn’t pause a live delivery. When it’s used in a live delivery, future offers will be paused, after the current delivery is complete.
Another use for the pause button, is the restroom, and food breaks. The pause button, is a quick way to pause the offers, but remain in the queue.
A pause at the right time is a benefit to the courier. The waiting window can also be a benefit, in terms of perks, so, wait inside. Stay safe out there!
