The special delivery is the very next one
Was that a good delivery? What did you like about it? Did it feel like a safe delivery? Questions like these are important for a number of reasons. They help shape future delivery offers and requests. The questions also generate feedback for the app, or service, asking the questions.
With this in mind, the hope is for a better experience. Both for the customer and for the courier. Or it’s the hope that that is the goal. After all, without the customer and the courier, a delivery app is…not really a delivery app.
The special delivery is the very next one
Furthermore, there are some things that are the responsibility of the courier. For example, the ride. Most merchants, and the delivery apps, don’t supply delivery vehicles. Additionally, no pit crew will be sent to perform maintenance. Or tires.
For most couriers this is a good thing because pit crews are seriously expensive. As are tires. Crew couriers, and the merchants they drive for, still consider it too expensive to have a pit crew. So they do not. Therefore maintenance is usually up to the courier. And mileage.
However, it’s possible the special delivery is the very next one. That seems like a simple statement. And it is. Also it is powerfully true. The depth of its meaning will sit differently, for each courier. Especially those with many delivery completions. Furthermore, this goes deeper than just money. Zen.
Depending on the courier, there are different things that make a delivery special. Indeed, for some couriers it is a large tip. Or cash. However, large tips are possible, yet not always plentiful. Not every delivery pays a fortune. If it did, there wouldn’t be any trains. Because no one would work at the train factory. Everyone would be retired couriers.
Some deliveries are special for reasons other than money. For example, super happy furbaby greetings. These are not only fun deliveries, but also make for good days overall! Furthermore it gives the furbabies an outlet for all that energy.
The very next one
Similarly it might be a favorite location. Some of the houses and locations are spectacular. With regard to location and views. Spectacular views. Especially along a riverside. Or maybe a remodeled log cabin, tucked neatly in a city landscape.
In the same way, it is refreshing to catch up with acquaintances, and long time customers. Or a favorite coffee shop. Additionally there might be a library. All in the area of the next drop-off. Now there’s a find! Indeed, there are many ways a delivery can be special. Stay safe out there.
