The less is more delivery
It almost sounds counter intuitive. The less is more delivery. How is it even possible for less to be more? There is so much emphasis on hustling and completing the delivery. There is all the focus on the next offer.
Furthermore, the courier is being timed at almost every turn. Indeed, it’s easy to see why it feels like the hustle is always on. Additionally, traffic is a consideration. Especially when it comes to the rush.
When the tension converts to stress, the courier may feel less concentration overall. This is also when speeding, or red light running, becomes more likely. Moreover, the courier may cut even more corners. If the quoted times are compromised.
The less is more delivery
With this in mind, how is it possible to wind down the hustle in the middle of a hustle? Clearly this is where the counter intuitive part comes in. Is this a suggestion that the courier lay back and half ass the delivery?
Does a bear create a lucrative and diverse financial portfolio in the woods? Not likely. Laying back on the delivery isn’t the essence of less is more. Laying back and dismissing the importance of the delivery isn’t the less is more concept. Indeed, it’s a quick trip into becoming unprofessional.
Furthermore, this idea or technique, has more to do with the intensity of the drive on the road. Likewise the traffic, and the intensity of the traffic struggle. It is very easy to get caught up in the race. For example, the race to the next red light.
It is a difficult process to slow down the racing thoughts of time limits and deadlines. Much less go for the more deliberate route of navigating the road conditions, instead of the other way around.
With this in mind, it can be said the less is more delivery is more of a state of mind delivery. One where the courier stays cool behind the wheel. This approach is a benefit to the courier, and an excellent way to preserve courier resources. Stay safe out there.
