The rule states that the shortest distance between two points, is a straight line. The courier that seeks the shortest distance between two points is a proactive and timely courier. Furthermore, it isn’t always possible to trust the gps without question.

Tech is not infallible, and having a method and the skill to complete deliveries without using tech is doable. In fact, it’s fun. Additionally, there is a sense of flying by the seat of one’s pants.

Having a general knowledge of the local area that will be the delivery zone is ideal. (New couriers unfamiliar with zones click here) The courier has the advantage of knowing the basic direction to travel in at all times.

This is an advantage that saves the courier time by eliminating the need to study a map. Furthermore the courier is able to quickly decide on routes that save time. No two deliveries are the same, similarly no two routes are the same.

One route may be geographically shorter by the map, but a much more time consuming route because of terrain, redlights and traffic. All of this while the other route, is longer in distance, but requires a much shorter time to travel. This is where the courier can gain an advantage.

This brings about the honest topic of the hot popcorn delivery. It is as simple as that, and it is actually a large bag of movie theatre popcorn. It is exciting to see the list of delivery merchants expanding to include more participants.
