The frog and the Princess

Beautiful and lovely the kingdom glows today! And we have arrived in the middle of the concourse way. The castle is decorated and brightly lit all around. And there is music and laughter, creating the most wonderful sound! All this because the lovely one is the very essence of beauty, and charm. She is so kind and loving, and so wonderfully warm!

There on the concourse, is a beautiful sight. The lovely Princess is walking around, and making sure everything is right. At each decoration she stops to see, that it’s complete and pretty, the way it is supposed to be. Now, gracefully, she moves toward the throne room. Because the festivities will be starting soon.

However, she pauses for a moment to see, the castle guard standing at attention, so courageously! Furthermore, everyone would have an invitation to see. Therefore, all the castle guard had to do, was ask very kindly.

This is the part I was worried about, it seems those castle guards are very stout! The castle is under guard and those with an invitation will be allowed, say, did anyone else see a flash of green in that crowd? Perhaps it was nothing, and a mere trick of the light, somehow. But, I don’t see anything now.

With this in mind, and not too late, came all in the kingdom to enter the gate. The castle guards were careful and kind, and everyone was asked for the invitation that was signed. Then came a rather jumpy looking fellow with flippers for feet. Hopping along happily with a smile so sweet.

The castle guards watched in alarm, as a jumpy frog sauntered in with amphibian charm. The lovely Lady had been quite clear, only those with invitations were welcome here. The castle guards quickly jump into action, stopping a slimy frog from getting any traction.

Now the jumpy frog is all excited, no need for a frog toss because he was invited. He reaches for his invitation and is clearly shaken, because his invitation has been taken. Then a jumpy frog shudders, and oh my, did anyone else see? The slimy frog getting down with those finja skills. Dramatically.

Castle gate

Now, there is a tussle at the castle gate, and the castle guards do not hesitate. A bold jumpy frog has been caught, and it looks like he will get tossed. Across the pond and far away, I knew this would happen, how can a frog catapult save the day?

The scene is intense, frog and castle guard battling it out on the concourse. Well, yes, the frog is caught and about to be tossed, but it was a battle of flying fins and slime everywhere. Now the castle guard has a determined stare, as he prepares to fling the frog way over there!

The frog is in trouble, his goose is surely cooked. But he was invited, and this shouldn’t be overlooked. On the horizon, a glowing suddenly appears, and at the same time a lovely sound that was music to the ears. Hanging upside down, in the castle guard’s hand, is a jumpy frog, trying to understand.

‘Tis the lovely Lady arrived just in time. Lovely and graceful, and ever so sublime. She stands at the castle gate, so wonderful and divine. And speaks the words to save a frog, covered in slime. “Unhand that frog this moment I say!”
