The doorbell camera and porch theater, new episodes daily

Ever fall off a porch? How about someone else’s porch? It’s an uncomfortable feeling. Especially if it involves landing, knee first on a sidewalk. Ouch. Or maybe it’s a tumble into the bushes. It isn’t always easy to navigate strange and unfamiliar front porches. Especially in the dark. Furthermore, there is a picture to take. Most of the time the courier must take a few steps back from the front door. It allows for more details in the picture.

With this in mind the courier tries to get all the important info in the frame. For example, the apartment or house number. Add in the cargo for the drop-off, and it’s a full frame. The full frame is the evidence that the drop-off is complete. Now for that edge that is so easy to slip over. Take a few steps back and uh oh the courier is balancing on the steps while getting that million dollar shot.

Meanwhile there is a doorbell camera. Furthermore, there is likely a curious homeowner that wants to watch the courier picture show. Just in case there’s something good on. It is very likely, considering half of all doorbell cameras allow for talking to the porch visitor. However, in this episode of courier on the porch, something else happens instead. The courier takes a mad fall off the porch.

The Doorbell Camera and Porch Theater

The courier on the porch is a popular show. Not only is it about security but also safety. Almost every porch has a version of the doorbell camera. Additionally the courier can bank on motion sensor capability. This means the courier was live back there on the sidewalk. Furthermore, the approach to the front door, is also among the highlights. From there it’s all about leaving it at the door.

If it is meet at the door delivery that changes only a few small things. The courier is still the star of the front porch at home delivery. However, there will be a cameo by the delivery customer. Aka, the homeowner. In that episode, the delivery customer almost always shows up at the door first. The courier is on the tracker the moment the offer is accepted. From there the courier’s movements get some close scrutiny. It has been postulated that the level of communication is directly proportional to how hungry the delivery customer actually is.

In other words, the courier will likely get an alert if a wrong turn happens. This would be from the delivery customer. It’s infrequent but does happen. A delivery customer has an interest in the courier having an obstacle free trip. However, soon enough the courier is climbing the steps of the porch, on the way to the front door.

    New Episodes Every Day

Couriers visit many front porches. Furthermore, no two are the same. Therefore, it helps to have some best practices that help in the event of a balance challenge. One of those is the steps leading up. Particularly for places that have wooden steps. It is not uncommon for treads or even half treads to be missing. On part, or even all of the steps. A missing half tread is difficult to see in the dark.

Watch the top step. It’s the one that could be the doozy. A loose one is common. Furthermore, the homeowner knows about it. And the courier does not. Additionally, some places have gates installed at the top of the stairs. Couriers must balance, and hold, while trying to unlatch the gate. That’s the easy one. Coming back out is the sticker.

The gates are pet gates. And occasionally they come with latches that require a bachelor’s degree to open. However that adds the element of mystery to the most recent episode of courier on the porch. Stay safe out there.
