The best strategy games for an improved delivery experience

The best strategy games for an improved delivery experience.

The delivery experience is much more common in today’s world. In fact, there are more ways than ever to get a delivery. Game systems have shortcuts for ordering delivery. Like, straight from the console. Delivery apps save delivery orders for ease of future deliveries. And even merchants make ordering a delivery as simple as confirming an email. Furthermore, thanks to delivery apps, every night can be an earnings opportunity.

With this in mind, couriers that spend long days on the road must develop ways to conserve resources. One of the first things new couriers learn is how expensive delivery can be. Furthermore, some of the expense comes from simply doing the job. For example wear and tear. On a vehicle, wear and tear is cumulative. Over the course of time a courier will add some serious mileage to a vehicle. And serious couriers definitely drive the miles.

As mentioned earlier, deliveries are easier than ever to set up. Add to that all the perks and special offers from a delivery app and it’s even economical to order delivery. This means couriers are busier than ever. And that’s good news for the courier, unless those expenses are out of control. If expenses and low paying offers have caused a slow down in earnings, it might be time to use some strategy games to improve the delivery experience.

    The Best Strategy Games

Strategy games for the courier can mean different things. The first thing to keep in mind is the difference between a solo courier using a delivery app and a courier running for a merchant. The job is the same but the circumstances are different. The differences mean a different strategic approach to each one matters. For example, the courier driving for a merchant has additional support for delivery completions. The delivery experience for the crew courier is one of speed and quick turnaround.

Similarly the timing of the dinner rush is more predictable. The merchant usually has access to the previous years sales numbers. That information is valuable. For example, if business was good on a particular date one year ago, chances are good it will be on the same date one year later. The previous year’s sales numbers help the merchant develop a strategy for the dinner rush one year later. A merchant can schedule accordingly should there be a possible need for extra help. All the crew courier needs to do is hustle out to the drop-off, then back to home base.

The strategy is in improving times. It’s the same thing a solo courier does with a delivery app. However, there are some fundamental differences. The strategy games a solo courier needs are the ones that conserve resources and maximize payouts. It’s true that a crew courier works for tips. However, the crew courier is also an employee. Which means a weekly or bi-weekly paycheck. In addition to tips. The solo courier needs every tip to develop a paycheck.

    An Improved Delivery Experience

This article is an opinion article. It’s one courier sharing what works and what doesn’t. For that particular courier. However, every little bit helps. For example, securing the bank. This is one of the easiest strategy games to put into practice. It helps to start with a full tank of gas. If a full tank isn’t possible, start with any sum used for fueling up. In other words, if twenty dollars worth of gas went into the tank before the delivery shift, the bank is twenty dollars.

Next, the courier runs deliveries. As each delivery completion accumulates, the courier watches for one particular benchmark. The return of the twenty dollar investment. Once the courier recovers the twenty dollar investment for gas, the earnings actually begin. Furthermore, the fuel expense for the next day’s delivery shift is in the pocket. Combining this strategy with the next one on the strategy games list delivers real results. Watch the queue for the right offer. That’s where the next strategy really pays off.

Every offer that shows up in the queue has certain details. Catching the relevant ones first is a time saver. The miles traveled detail is one of the top things to discover first. From there it’s the payout. Those two details provide the courier with just about all the relevant information needed to decide yes or no. The miles involved, tells the courier how long the delivery will likely take. Additionally, the mileage gives the courier a way to predict the amount of resources required to get the delivery completion.

    Delivery Strategy Games

The mileage is useful information for other reasons as well. It allows the courier to estimate the amount of time needed to complete the delivery. The quicker the courier completes the delivery, the quicker the next delivery happens. Solo couriers rely on numbers. Therefore mileage is one of the first things a courier should check when a delivery comes up in the queue. Mileage and payout. Critical pieces of information. And definitely cornerstones in the strategy games.

    strategy games

The mileage rate is an individual preference. Every courier knows their own situation best. Therefore, the amount of compensation the courier needs to achieve, is a personal matter. Some couriers will not deliver anything for less than two dollars a mile. Plus the tips. Other couriers get by with much less, but rely on the occasional high dollar tip to fill in the gaps. Those high dollar tips are rare. There’s also more than one school of thought as to why. However, having a number that covers basic expenses, keeps the courier running.

The two examples in this article take a little time to balance. However, they are effective strategy games that put the courier on the money saving track. When used together they create a formula that stays true for an entire delivery shift. Furthermore, every courier is different. A delivery that doesn’t work for one courier, may be the perfect fit for another courier. That’s the effect of experience. If the numbers look good take the run. If the numbers say no, wait for the next one. Stay safe out there.
