The best customer service is still the human

The best customer service is still the human

The road is a long and winding adventure. It is also a means for making a paycheck. For some, this means extreme amounts of road time. Couriers and delivery drivers spend large amounts of time between the ditches. From drop-off to pickup, and then from drop-off to pickup again. It’s a continual loop of the at-home delivery process.

The at-home delivery. It is as important to the customer, as it is to the courier. Furthermore, it has become widely accepted. In fact, it can be said that at-home delivery, is a part of everyday life. Similarly, it can be said that the delivery app adds a whole new dimension to the delivery game. Both for the courier and the at-home customer.

With this in mind there is a feeling of calm anticipation when a delivery will be saving the day. For example, the big project is due tomorrow. And now the ink cartridge in the printer just crossed its last (T) It is bone dry. Therefore, a quick ink cartridge delivery, can absolutely save the day. With a delivery app, the closest office supply store might as well be next door. Talk about convenience and customer service.

    The Best Customer Service

Even the best apps have a glitch from time to time. In delivery, the glitch translates to a snafu or unexpected delay. This is when the best customer service matters. From the courier, as well as the delivery app. Ordinarily, this would be an easy fix. After all, a glitch is at least traceable. Likewise, a snafu is fixable.

    customer service

Moreover, a good customer service rating is a worthy goal for the solo courier. Especially when using a delivery app. However, not every problem is solvable by the courier. In fact there are some situations that require customer service from the upper tier. Or, customer service support agents. Respectively.

If an issue involves courier safety, there are many resources for help, in the app. However, there are some situations, when it is almost impossible to contact an agent. Furthermore, this isn’t to say it can’t be done. If the courier persists, and has experience in the app, a customer service agent can be found. The process is highly automated. Therefore, it helps to remember the algorithm. It will definitely be remembering the courier.

    It’s Still the Human

No matter how good the bots are, it’s still the human that gets the work done. Bots are great at handling routine jobs, but when it comes to getting the real work done, there’s nothing like the human touch. More on this topic next. Stay safe out there.
