The road goes on forever. At least so far it does. 1courier is contemplating the zen of the road, as the miles fall away. He is nearing the city limits and soon the party will start. His determination to be there, on time, is strategy. This is going to be one of the most extreme rushes ever. Every courier from miles around is participating. Furthermore, no one wants to miss the Lucky wheel.

In fact, some couriers are in the mix just for the Lucky wheel. With this in mind, 1courier is among the first arrive. This is part of the plan. Being in the zone, ahead of time, meant the queue would be primed. When it is time. The only thing to do, is wait and see if the rumors are true. Would the Lucky wheel be here?

Within minutes more couriers arrive. They are far and wide, looking for the big rush maker. The city is large. There will never be enough couriers, so the rush will indeed be extreme. Furthermore, each courier will bite off more than they can chew. 1courier grins. It happens every time. Overwhelmed, crazed couriers, running the rush like a wave on the ocean.

Tales of the Courier

Always, it is overly busy, and sometimes chaotic. However, it is nothing compared to Lucky wheel, the big rush maker. Once it is unleashed, all bets are off. Then it’s every courier for themselves. 1courier parks the ride in the center of his chosen zone. If he has chosen wisely, this will be an ideal place to start. He may even see the Lucky wheel.

That, in itself, would be rare. Many came for the bonus work, but few ever encountered, or actually witnessed, the Lucky wheel. Furthermore, it is as real as the seat, in which he now sits. It is the oddest, and most unique, delivery vehicle ever conceived. Additionally, it is state of the art in every conceivable way. In short, it is famous. Worldwide famous.

Anyone receiving a delivery from the Lucky wheel, is lucky indeed. Not only are they instantly famous, but also they get perks. For example, free delivery for life. Consequently, everyone is interested in the chance at such a deal. However, that is just for the customers ordering the deliveries. The couriers have different incentives.

The time is almost here. Additionally, more couriers have gathered outside the supposed launch point. The goal is to follow the Lucky wheel. Soon the queue will begin dropping offers, nonstop. Furthermore, the courier will continue to get offers. Especially while completing previously accepted offers. The tension is building, and soon the activity will begin. Then it will carry on, far into the night.

The Lucky wheel

1courier watches the other couriers, watching for the wheel. Apparently they have inside sources, too. It seemed everyone knew of the secret starting place, and the secret starting time. As they wait, a shimmering ripple, begins on the road just ahead of 1courier. The shimmer takes shape. A sleek and powerful machine streaks by the waiting couriers. The couriers began to cheer. They all begin following the machine on its unknown path.

All, except 1courier, who is still sitting. He feels a profound sense of things flipped upside down. Furthermore, what were they thinking? He knows immediately he must follow the strange Lucky wheel. However, it won’t be to gather deliveries. He jams the ride into gear, and floors the accelerator pedal. He is certain he didn’t see what he saw. The m-com link flashes. 1courier grins, there is about to be a delay.
