The turkey leg trot delivery. Is there such a thing? Before we can answer that question, we must first address the elephant in the room. This may seem confusing, but the elephant is important.

Not because it’s large. It’s more of a misunderstanding removal. It centers around the question of delivery on a holiday, and if it does exist. I can confirm, it does exist. Additionally, there is more business than one might expect, for a major holiday.

The reasons for this are varied, and are only additional data, with regards to the days of the pandemic. The pandemic didn’t create the ever growing demand for delivery on the holidays. It was happening before the demic.

The growing list of merchants that are open on the holidays, is also conducive to more deliveries on holidays. Furthermore, this is possible in large part, because of the delivery apps. The gig-work advantage, benefits more than just the gig-worker.

There was an uptick in ghost kitchen deliveries on the holiday last year. Furthermore there was an increase in the night rush on the last Thanksgiving holiday. It stands to reason that this year will also be very busy.

Turkey Leg Trot

Now that the elephant is out of the room, the turkey leg trot delivery can be examined. It won’t take long because it’s the one that has the most oddness for the day. It can only happen on a holiday and the odd factor will be elevated.

The courier will know immediately when it happens. Sometimes it’s a result of the courier slipping up. For example, accepting an unknown offer by picking up the phone and accidentally touching the screen. Next thing the courier knows, it’s a trip to the equator, with three tacos and a margarita.
