One of these is not like the other delivery
There is a moment in a delivery that rivals a timely completion. It is accepting the delivery from the queue. Or, the beginning of a delivery. Once a delivery offer is accepted, the challenge becomes a timely completion. This is the case for the crew courier as well as the solo courier. Except for some minor differences, this is a basic delivery description, for the basic courier.
With this in mind, there are only a couple of differences, when it comes to a courier’s paycheck. For example, who signs the check? Additionally, are tips and basic mileage compensation, the only pay the courier is receiving? If the courier is making an hourly wage, most other compensation is more like a bonus. Right?
One of these is not like the other delivery
This is one basic difference between the crew courier, and the solo courier. However, this definition opens up many questions. For example, the manner of compensation. How is each one paid, and what if any, are the drawbacks to each position? Furthermore, that is a lengthy discussion. One that involves various topics. Such as taxes and employee rights, and so forth.
It is no wonder the subject creates so many differing points of view. Indeed, most couriers prefer the better paying option. However, the better paying option isn’t always about being an employee. In fact, there are many excellent points, that support the contract delivery. As discussed in this article, sometimes the perks are the real benefit for the courier.
Furthermore, things like a flexible schedule are more than just perks. In some cases, a flexible schedule, is the only way for the courier to complete deliveries. Or perhaps the courier only has an hour or two for completing deliveries. Without the flexible schedule, this would be next to impossible. Moreover, without the gig-work alternative, delivery would be a limited industry.
Delivery status
