Virtual Dispatch

Out in the kingdom the streets are all clear, the roads are all empty and nightfall is here. A long winter hangs heavily over the land, yet what is happening here, is almost impossible to understand. A long winter, yes it’s true. However, that has little to do with why a jumpy frog is so blue.

Just a second, and hold on a moment too. Did I just hear that a jumpy frog is feeling blue? This can’t be right, there’s no way it’s true. No one’s seen that jumpy frog, since his great escape. What happened in the kingdom, does anyone know? The news doesn’t usually travel this slow.

Now here’s something, and it’s a little strange, but over by the Royal Castle, there’s been a slight change. Where once the Royal concourse was open and free, now stands the castle guards, menacingly. And yikes! What’s this? A security gate across the road? This sure doesn’t look much like those stories of old.

In fact, everywhere across the land there appears to be, a strange group of signs, located purposefully. In the Royal kingdom, there’s only ever been, three main roads, leading in. Now every route to the castle has a warning sign. And over by the pond they’ve definitely crossed a line. No one in the pond or they’ll have to pay a fine? I say, who’s responsible for this crazy sign?

That is to say, and quite sadly so, that it applies only to slimy frogs, wouldn’t you know. Quite right. And notice the signs on the roads leading in? They all say go away frog, you’ll never win. I say, does no one in the kingdom understand? What has come over the inhabitants of this land? In times like these, there’s only one who will know. The only one with that beautiful glow.

However, it’s unclear if we will see, any actual throne room activity. Because, standing at the Royal castle door, is a troop of guards, maybe more. This is in addition to, a closed and blocked off pass through. Furthermore, as far as I can see, there is no sign of the lovely Lady.

What on earth could a slimy frog have done? Because I just spotted another sign, marking the frog as public enemy number one. If the crime is passion then guilty is he. In all his frog life he never knew anyone as beautiful as she. The lovely Princess will always be his dream of love so true. What else could a slimy frog hope to do?

Now in the castle, the mood is somber and subdued. All is quiet, and the Royal court has reached an interlude. The castle is secure and locked up tight! The Royal guard will stop any jumpy intruders in the castle tonight. However, in the north tower, safe and warm this stormy night, is the lovely Princess, and she is the most beautiful sight.

No Frogs Allowed

Standing at a telescope the lovely Lady sees one of the most peculiar things. It’s over on the other side of the pond, where that crazy frog hops and sings. Furthermore, it’s something weird, and it’s growing day by day. What on earth that crazy frog is up to, is hard to say. Yet whatever it is can’t come too soon, because everything will be lost, by the next full moon.

On the other side of the pond our slimy friend is working his flippers off. A jumpy frog that loves hard, dreams big and has a strange taste in food. It didn’t take long to see, all the changes happening so drastically. And now a frog with a plan, must do everything he possibly can.

The lovely Princess with her heart so precious and true, is the most beautiful love that frog ever knew. And now frogs are banned from the kingdom, and the pond as well. Therefore, it is time to blaze a new kind of trail. A jumpy frog about as crazy as a loon, got himself a hot air balloon.

All of this from one visit, after months with no news. Now it makes sense, why that frog has the blues. This story is certainly moving along fast. Especially considering the missing past. But stay tuned and in the next story we will see, what changed everything so dramatically.
