It’s the pizza. Every time it’s the pizza that brings the smiles. Of course, who doesn’t feel like smiling, when there’s pizza? There is something special about the pizza delivery. Not only is pizza informal but also it’s fun. Fun to look at, fun to plate up. And a sheer joy to eat. Pizza even stacks efficiently. For easy storage, until the following day. The pizza leftovers will be a breeze to find.
With this in mind, the gourmet pizza, doesn’t have to be a pizza. In fact, it can be almost any type of food that can be delivered. The idea that the delivery cargo is more special than usual, is the point. Experienced couriers know that the high end deliveries, have unspoken rules.
Furthermore, it takes a certain level of experience, to be able to identify and operate high end deliveries. However, it makes a difference to the delivery customer. Moreover, this is sometimes expressed with an additional tip. Or the add on tip. The add on tip is always unexpected. Likewise, it is never predictable.
New Gourmet Pizza Delivery
There are usually questions about what causes a delivery customer to tip an additional amount. The increase in interest can sometimes be a distraction from the real purpose of the delivery. Things like excellent customer service, and good communication are top priorities in this type of delivery.
Additionally, moving quickly but purposefully, is another way to get ahead of the game. This doesn’t mean running and hurrying. In fact, it’s closer to a ‘no wasted motion’ mindset. But it does mean the courier needs to minimize distractions. Or prevent the slow down, so to speak.
The timely delivery is a big part of creating a positive delivery experience. Furthermore, more not less, of this is needed for creating the gourmet pizza effect.
The Add on Tip
This is the random, but cool, part. The add on tip. Sometimes it’s there. Other times not so much. However, it’s being worked for all the time. It is only added after the delivery is complete. Additionally it can be almost any sum. However, it is in addition to the original offer. This makes it more of a bonus than anything.
The bonus is in having the extra pay. Similarly the recognition of a dedicated courier is also nice. That’s how the add on tip makes a difference. Stay safe out there.
