In fact, knowing the likelihood of a lengthy traffic delay is a delivery saver every time. It only takes one traffic jam, and one stuck courier, to tank a delivery. Furthermore, a closed road can add a huge delay to a delivery drop off. Especially if the courier is caught unawares. The detour will take additional time. Whereas avoiding the route in the first place, would benefit the courier more.

Improved delivery times mean a quality delivery experience for the customer. This is bread and butter for the courier. It is also an advantage for a possible increase in earnings.
