Drawn Out in the Far Away Oasis. An oasis is a gem with untold secrets and treasure. Furthermore, this place is certainly far enough away to be one. Looking out over the valley below is one of the best parts of this place. This view is invigorating and calming. And the silence of the place is a welcome reprieve from the noise of the city.
The road leading to this place isn’t a paved one, and the vehicle is hot from the steep climb. However, it’s good to be able to slip off the grid from time to time. Most couriers preferred the valley work. It had less hassle and was more plentiful. The mountain work had perks too, but not of the money kind.

There are only a few moments to draw from this oasis, similarly time off the grid is rare, and expensive. The wind sighs through the trees, gently moving sound across this new oasis. It’s effect is soothing, and welcome. The city is off in the distance, from this place it’s easy to forget the world that exists there. Maybe every oasis is this way.
The journey back wouldn’t be bad, after descending the mountain, the road opened into the highway. And then moving fast was easy. It was leaving the oasis that was difficult. The chance to get off the grid again, might not happen anytime soon. A hawk circles far above, gliding along the currents of the gentle breeze. The oasis is quiet and smells of honeysuckle.
Once it was possible to find places like this on almost every mountain. In those times there was wilderness, in these times there is urban concrete.
