Yo driver, welcome back. Lots of good rain in my city today! It was really hopping out there! Good runs all around today! These weather events sure can be good for business. Particularly in the food delivery area. Which got me thinking about that old saying, do you want fries with that?
It came from fast food and was a hit when used to proclaim something funny. Still is in my book. There’s just something about the classics. So I’m thinking about fries, and all the strange stories and experiences a driver accumulates after some time on the road. In fact, it really happens. Stay alert, driver!
Tall Tales
There is often story telling in a crew of drivers. Everything from the biggest load you’ve carried, to the strangest encounter at a drop off location. For example, I know for a fact, it’s possible to get sixty five large hot pizzas into a 2006 Nissan Sentra, and still have room for 15 – 2 liter sodas. It is also a fact that the Sentra will smell like pepperoni for a month afterwards.
Let’s have some fun, driver! I pulled a strange run the other day. I get them, some I can speak on, others not. This one ranks as one of my favorite strange runs, and I think it’s also appropriate for the up coming fall festivities! I’m thinking, boo! and ew that’s gross. Here’s a snapshot of my cargo:
That’s right driver, dinner is served. You’ll find this tasty morsel in the freezer section. Do you want fries with that? They come in small, medium and large, so do the fries.
