Delivery tracker, and can you see me now?
Most of the time the courier is easy to find. Occasionally, the courier isn’t so easy to find. If a delivery is involved, the odds are good the courier will be in the delivery tracker. In fact, the courier will be the little red or blue dot, doing the moving around. Hopefully not in circles.
With this in mind, it is an excellent time to convey some exciting site news. The article will continue immediately afterwards. So, the excitement is from the website design team. At long last there is a cookie dialogue box. If the little box was all there was to it, that would’ve been great.
In fact, it would have been one less pain in the heat bag. However, offering transparency and options for cookies, and trackers, is what makes a great website, even better. 😉 At the very least, it means compliance with a lot of boring rules. Furthermore, those rules change and expand, depending on the location of the reader/user.

Additionally, this site has ads. However, it is possible to become a member for a monthly fee. Members will not have to deal with ads, because they pay a monthly fee. Furthermore, I have every confidence the website design team will know how to stop the ads, for a member of the site. As for me, I wear several different hats. One of them is labeled the website design team.
One of the reasons for the cookies is the tracking involved with most websites. Particularly those that serve ads alongside their content. Once again it would be great if that little bit was all there was to it.
However, there is a need for transparency. Even if (as is the case with this site) the tracking is only about how many pass through the doors. The options in the cookie dialogue box, make it possible for anyone to set the level of interaction they choose. The allow all option, is the fastest way to get back to a pleasant, Virtual Dispatch, browsing experience.
The idea that any visitor to this site is visible, leads to the core of this article. Respectively. About the delivery tracker, and can you see me now? They can see the courier. In fact, once upon a time the delivery apps made an attempt to cloak the courier.
While this may sound counter intuitive, it was for help with the stacked delivery. The concept was to keep the courier location cloaked, as a stacked delivery’s different parts, were delivered. This kept the courier out of hot water. Or, out of trouble with the remaining drop-off, who was also tracking the courier.
Can You See Me now
A courier fielding the call from one of the drop-offs, on a stacked delivery, knows this tale. The call is to question the courier, and it always starts the same way.
“Are you lost?”
In fact, the courier is on another route, completing the other delivery. Furthermore, all the stack’s drop-offs, are in close proximity, or on the way. That is why the courier appears lost in the delivery tracker. The waiting drop-off location, is watching the courier complete another delivery, on the way to their delivery. They are also hungry. So they make the call. “Are you lost?”
Tracking is part and parcel for the courier. Additionally, it is a valuable tool for both the courier and the drop-off location. More on this in upcoming articles. Until then, stay safe out there.
