Delivery note and better dispatch – Tales of the Courier
The road is winding and chases the horizon in the late evening twilight. 1courier is intent on reaching that horizon before night falls. It shouldn’t be a problem. He slams the accelerator to the floor. Effectively clearing any delay worries.
The ride blazes down the highway. In mere minutes this delivery will be in the books. 1courier grins. Furthermore, he knows HQ will appreciate the hasty completion. While it was true the distance traveled would be extreme, 1courier knew the route well. Therefore, he was confident he could save some time.
With this in mind, he thinks back to the pickup. It had been a rare offer to begin with. Furthermore, he had accepted it without hesitation. Sometimes it was about more than money. In this case, it was all about location.
Delivery note and better dispatch
As the road unwinds in front of him, his thoughts also unravel and flow. It is time for a delivery completion that ranks as a good one. Somehow, each of his delivery completions, is fraught with difficulty. He grins, it is not all his fault. Now he bellows out a mirthful laugh.
The road runs incredibly fast under the wheels of the ride. However, 1courier is still debating whose fault it is, when the m-com link lights up. He is almost shocked at the sudden activity. Therefore, he checks the details right away. He has been assigned another pickup, from the queue.
Furthermore, he is expected at the new pickup location immediately after this drop-off. 1courier checks the Navi systems. It appears he will be at the drop-off location soon. This would have to be a quick turnaround. The new pickup location was a long way, away.
With this in mind, he begins scouting for the exact location. This was the best part of the delivery experience. The completion. It shouldn’t take long to lock in on the exact place. After all, he had all the old school tactics to help confirm the exact location.
Likewise, he was only a block or less, away from the actual drop-off. Until he sees the delivery note. At first he decides not to see it. Indeed, the little red dot was not there a moment ago. Now, there is a little red dot. This indicates a delivery note. 1courier grins. Of course it does.
Tales of the Courier
However, it is too late to turn back now. Yet, the delivery note requires that he turn back now. 1courier is certain this is going to be another one of those disastrous completions. He checks the m-com link. The new pickup offer is waiting for completion as well.
Split decision, and time is running out. Now for the fun part. 1courier doubles down, and pours on the speed. After all, a delivery note and better dispatch, is all it takes for a better delivery completion.
