Delivery by the numbers and the best quick patterns
Delivery by the numbers is an interesting part of being a courier. Almost every part of the job is about those numbers. Arrival times, pickup times and drop-off times are all about numbered deadlines. Highway signs, speed limit signs and even gas station signs are all about the numbers as well.
With this in mind, it is not a surprise to find even more numbers at many different drop-off locations. Furthermore, some of those numbers can be part of an even more in depth system of numbers.
On the one hand, there is a pin that is placed close to the delivery location. On the other hand the pin doesn’t cover where in the building the particular number is located. Therefore, it helps to know a few things about the numbers showing up on these deliveries.
Delivery by the Numbers
For example the first, second, and third floors of most apartment complexes are usually the first number in the apartment number. Therefore apartment 326 means the courier will be going up to the third floor. Regardless of which side of the building the apartment is on.
Additionally, most complexes label buildings from left to right when facing the building. It is possible to bet the low apartment number will be to the left. And win the bet. Furthermore, it is possible to save some time. Some apartment complexes are immense. It can eat up a lot of time wandering around, trying to find a certain building.
Anytime the courier has to spend time searching, there is more time for hot fresh food, to cool. Similarly, a waiting customer at a drop off location, is watching the courier do little circles on the GPS tracker of the app. Therefore it is a benefit to remember that most hotels stack the rooms.
If the delivery is to a hotel that has external access to rooms, there will be a stacking of the numbers. For example, if the courier is driving around the building looking at the numbers of the rooms, they will also stack as the same number.
The best quick patterns
In other words if the courier is looking for room 321, and sees room 121 on the ground floor. The courier would then only need to look up, to see room 221 just above. Looking straight up from there, will yield room 321, and the bullseye. This pattern mainly works with hotels that have external access to rooms.
Knowing a few quick patterns can be a benefit when time is short. Similarly, time is always short when hot fresh food is cooling. Therefore delivery by the numbers, and the best quick patterns, work together for improved earning possibilities. Stay safe out there.
