Delivery and the right offer at the right time
Almost every delivery follows the same guidelines. Also every delivery follows the same basic process. However, every delivery is also unique. This mix up of qualities in a delivery means a mindful approach is a good start. Additionally, having a basic plan for quick delivery completions is a benefit for any courier.
With this in mind, it is important to keep in mind, the ratings system of the app being used. This information applies mainly to the solo courier using a delivery app. The ratings system of most delivery apps, include stats for the acceptance rating. This rating is important, and often tracked.
Furthermore, it is an important part of some app incentive special offers. However, what happens if it isn’t the right offer? What if it has too many miles? Or perhaps the merchant is in another zone. All of these are good questions. And their answers are easy to understand.
Delivery and the right offer at the right time
The solo courier is accepting offers by queue. Depending on the delivery app being used, the queue could be far behind. When or, if this happens, the offers from the queue may contain older delivery offers. Furthermore, there may also be delivery offers that are just not feasible.
There could be any number of reasons why the delivery offer will not work. Similarly it takes time to develop a quick, at a glance method for scouting delivery offers from the queue. However, once the courier is able to quickly gauge the offers appearing in the queue, finding the right offer at the right time becomes easier to do.
This is important for the courier. It is also important for the delivery customer. Respectively. Furthermore, not every offer that appears in the queue will be achievable. It is up to the courier to examine the offer carefully. If the offer doesn’t match the resources the courier has for the delivery, declining the delivery offer is the next logical step.
The Right Delivery
It doesn’t take long for a delivery offer with the right parameters to appear. Sometimes it does require turning down several offers in a row. However the end result is a delivery opportunity that benefits the courier and the delivery customer. Of course this is only true when the courier accepts the right offer at the right time. Stay safe out there.
