Delivery accuracy and the helpful little clues
In the course of a delivery rush, the process of completions, can become routine. This is a positive thing. If it feels routine, there must be a flow or roll, happening. This is even better if the queue is dropping good offers.
With this in mind, cities are usually large. Furthermore, they grow and expand daily. Therefore, it is a good bet (at some point) the courier will need the GPS, for an assist. Additionally, it is useful for backup confirmation of current location.
Delivery Accuracy
However, it is not a full proof way to guarantee accuracy. This is never more evident than when the courier realizes he is standing on the wrong front porch. (No wonder it’s so dark with no porch light) This is an embarrassing feeling. Likewise, it becomes a nervous feeling very quickly.
When the courier uses a combination of techniques to locate a drop-off, the chances of success always improve. Similarly delivery accuracy, is still the faster, better way, to make a completion. Standing on the wrong front porch is the faster way to something else. For me, it’s the hell back to the ride.
Getting safe is a worthwhile pursuit for any courier. However, not getting in trouble to begin with, is better. This is where all the helpful little clues come in. For example, mailbox numbers. Also having a thing for mailbox numbers is a bonus.
The numbers indicate an accurate address. Additionally, there may be delivery notes that describe the house or driveway. Is the neighborhood themed? For example, all the mailboxes are brick. Or, perhaps all the house numbers are actually on the house.
The helpful little clues
It’s the helpful little clues that assist the GPS. These clues help the courier find the right location. Combined with the GPS, the courier will have the best chance at delivery accuracy. Furthermore, a quick message, or call, to the drop-off location, adds even more accuracy.
Finally, the delivery notes also provide valuable intel. They can be rich with information such as gate codes, or special landmark details. This info is another example of the helpful little clues. All of which will hopefully get the courier to the right front porch. Stay safe out there.
