Creating a money trail and not the easy way

Creating a money trail and not the easy way

It’s not easy. Sometimes it feels impossible. Other times it doesn’t seem worth it. But enough about taxes. Let’s talk about delivery instead. Every courier wants to make money. In fact, just about everyone working for money wants to make money. Therefore the courier isn’t unique in that regard.

In fact, most couriers are doing the work because it has potential. Or, more accurately it once had potential. Things have changed in the last few years. Not with the work. (At least there’s that.) But things have changed in other equally important ways. One of the most obvious is the improvements in delivery apps. Furthermore, though many articles in this site have sarcasm written in this one does not. Wink.

Okay, I may have winked out loud, however there are many things to be winking about. Particularly when it comes to modern day delivery. Every courier is trying to create a money trail. Furthermore, for each courier, it’s a work in progress. Consistent deliveries with consistent tips make a huge difference between paid and not paid.

    Creating a Money Trail

In most cases a money trail isn’t thought of as a good thing. In fact, there are those who try to erase money trails. However, it isn’t the courier. Couriers are trying to create a trail of money, straight to the bank. Additionally with as few miles as possible.

    money trail

Crew couriers have a greater degree of success with this goal, than the solo courier. This has a lot to do with having fewer players working the delivery. The relationship between a courier, and merchant, is such that a middleman isn’t needed. Therefore there is a greater chance of earnings finding their way into the courier’s pocket.

This is in direct comparison with a delivery app. Couriers that have covered both sides of this comparison, will ultimately agree. Particularly crew couriers that have driven for the same merchant, or carrier, for longer than a year. The earning comparisons are self evident.

    Not the Easy Way

It’s not easy working with a middleman. Like any game, the more players there are, the more rules there needs to be. Or, more accurately, the more rules that come into being. The process for the crew courier is customer oriented from start to finish. Similarly, this approach promotes a particular brand.

Due to the uncluttered line of communication, the courier is able to adequately represent both merchant and customer. Then, payments and tips go directly to the courier. There are less hands in the pot. So to speak. If it seems as though this is leading somewhere it is. Directly there. But it will require the next article to finish it. Stay safe out there.
