With this in mind the delivery sidehustle is a great way to earn extra income. Or even full time income. However achieving that level of performance takes preparation and planning. For example how to fill slow periods of time with deliveries. Instead of empty minutes.

Furthermore, the solo courier has more than one advantage over the crew courier. Indeed, being able to take steps to stay busy is one of these. There are times, between rushes and in off hours, that the delivery scene is very slow. A standstill. Crew couriers working with a merchant will see down time. The solo courier can use several delivery apps simultaneously. This is an excellent way to keep deliveries happening every minute. However it is also a way to get stretched too thin if the courier isn’t experienced and careful. If the courier’s stats begin to fall, such as arrival times and pickup times, the extra deliveries are not worth it. Poor service is to tips, as calling out sick is to a pay check. This is a concern and happens to couriers more and more frequently. This is one of the top reasons to carefully read the ‘new terms and conditions‘ when any app asks for a re-agreement. Stay alert.
