Better reviews and ratings with a focus on the basics
It takes time to develop a good reputation. And it takes even more time to develop a trustworthy one. This can be especially true for couriers. Many couriers, whether on a crew or running solo, are running in familiar zones. Familiar zones lead to familiar customers. Similarly, solo couriers (couriers using a delivery app) become well versed in the available merchants of a given zone. Furthermore, this can help improve the courier’s bottom line.
With this in mind, a quick search doesn’t reveal much about the ratings in a delivery app. In fact, driver reviews have most of the focus. If a courier is trying to understand the ratings of an app, the app is the best place to look. This isn’t because the answer can’t be found. It’s more about the unique procedures of individual delivery apps.
In fact, not all delivery apps are the same. Furthermore, some apps rate things others do not. And then there are specialized delivery apps. These apps have a specific type of delivery. For example a grocery delivery. Or convenience store deliveries. However, it is a safe bet there are ratings of some sort.
Better Reviews and Ratings
The best break down of each app, and all the different ratings, would be a huge article. Furthermore, it would take a great deal of time to read. Similarly listing them all one by one would take a while. Therefore, it’s always a good idea to focus on the basics.
In this case, the basics would be the top areas couriers get rated on. In fact, these are fairly common to each delivery app. For example on-time ratings. This includes the pick-up at the merchant. The overall rating comes at the drop-off, once the delivery is complete.
Another rating common across apps is the acceptance rating. It might have different names, but the rating is for the percentage of offers the courier accepts from the queue. Furthermore, in some apps, this rating is given a high value. Therefore, the courier will want this rating to be as high as possible.
A Focus On the Basics
Another high priority rating is the customer satisfaction rating. This one might also be labeled with another name. However it is very important. Customers happy with the courier’s work, are likely to leave better reviews and ratings. This matters because, along with other ratings, the courier may gain access to perks. And rewards.
There are other ratings, and they are different depending on the app in use. However, in order to gain access to the delivery app’s higher tiers, the courier will have to earn the higher ratings. Especially the ones that keep the courier active in the app. More on this in upcoming articles. Stay safe out there.
