Better food delivery with AI?
The title of this article is a simple question. However, it doesn’t have a simple answer. Indeed, from a general standpoint, AI seems like a daunting invention. It might be a natural progression, however, it is still a mystery to many people.
Incredible disclaimer. This article is 99% opinion. Its intent is to highlight different advances in technology through the years. No AI is writing this. Not because we don’t like them. We just can’t afford them. Furthermore it isn’t known if the AI can genuinely do combat.
With this in mind, it’s interesting to think about the many ways AI could benefit the courier. Furthermore, it seems there are uses no one had thought of until now. Lots of them. For example, extreme driving skills, in heavy traffic. While defending the ride with advanced combat skills.
Intense physical abilities, like easily jumping over large gates. Furthermore, this eliminates the need for a pesky gate code. This has expediency written all over it. Better yet, it’s AI, it can interface with that gate box. No waiting for a text with this co-pilot pushing the buttons!

Furthermore, the ability to circle the ride around the block while the courier makes the drop-off, would also be nice. This is certainly beginning to sound like it has potential. Of course the courier will benefit from previous knowledge of all speed trap locations. This imagined version of AI is a helpful friend to the courier!
While this could exist as a possible future for the courier, there are still great advantages with the boring old tech that was around before the new whiz kid, hit the block.
For example, mapping systems. Talk about an advantage. Once upon a time things were much slower, at the least. The courier had to be able to memorize things at the drop of a pin. and knowing how to fold a map was a bonus. A major bonus.
With this in mind, the mapping systems available for today’s couriers are the bees knees. Not only is the courier able to see the drop-off location on the map, but also where the courier is, in relation to the drop-off location. If all that makes the head spin, don’t worry, I don’t think it’s the AI. It’s just good old fashioned tech.
That is one thing to consider. There is all this tech laying around. I bet the AI will know just what to do with it. Furthermore this isn’t a doomsday prediction. The current possibilities of AI seem incredible! But is there better food delivery with AI? That will be an exciting new chapter, in the delivery game. And remains to be seen. Stay safe out there.
