The drop-off location is remote. The walk up the drive way, is safer than a drive up the driveway. Now the walk back to the ride, is a victory lap. It’s a long way back to the zone. Also, the evening rush is just getting started.
An offer becomes available for a pickup at the tavern just ahead. A glance at the screen reveals it’s a good bet. Looks like this is the next run. It’s also along the way. Bonus. After accepting the offer, the courier is immediately offered another.
Furthermore, this pickup is in the same area as the tavern drop-off. The delivery app is firing on all cylinders this evening. Additionally, not all the offers are far away. The mileage has been average.
A String of Deliveries
With this in mind, another offer comes in, while picking up the tavern order. However, it’s very near the drop-off of the second order. Accepting the offer is sensible because it has low mileage.
Things are heating up now. Three delivery offers within a few minutes. Furthermore, all three are in close proximity. This is becoming a rolling rush. The second pickup is just ahead. Additionally, the tavern pickup is within a few miles, and minutes, of drop-off.
Then another offer pops up. Not only is it within range, but also it offers a better than average payout. Definitely a can do. The second pickup is complete. Now to finish the tavern order.
Tavern drop-off just ahead, and now complete. Next the quick pickup of the third delivery, before dropping off the second delivery. The fourth delivery, in this string of deliveries, will be picked up before the third is dropped off.
Having the deliveries rolling in this way gives the delivery shift a sense of flow. Furthermore, it is possible to have a string of deliveries for an improved rush. The courier can accept back to back offers, and run nonstop all evening. Stay safe out there.
