A race against the clock for the better earnings
The race against the clock is real. Sometimes it is a hypothetical race. And other times it is a literal race. The courier is racing the clock at almost every turn. At least that can be how it feels at times. Combine that with a healthy dose of traffic and it’s definitely a race against the clock.
With this in mind, it feels like the hustle never ends on some deliveries. Not only can they fall behind but also they can stay behind, all the way to completion. Furthermore, it is possible for the courier to get a lower than average rating if the race against the clock doesn’t go well.
A race against the clock
The idea is fresh hot food delivery. Or on time delivery that isn’t late in any way. Furthermore, this is the path to a possible increase in earnings. It starts at the start. The quicker the courier is off the line, the quicker the completion can happen.
Although the pickup hasn’t happened yet, the hustle should be well underway. Additionally an early start on the pickup, will reverberate throughout the delivery. Just as a late pickup transfers the late through the entire delivery. For the courier, late is late. There is no gray area.
Furthermore, the late can impact the ratings more than expected. Other ratings are connected to the on time rating. For example, the customer satisfaction rating. This one is important for many reasons. Not the least of which, is quality offers, from the delivery queue.
The better earnings
Therefore, the potential for better earnings is directly linked, to the race against the clock. While this is not a major surprise, it does however, celebrate the hustle of the courier. Moreover, it is a simple concept of starting early and following through consistently. With drive and diligence. Stay safe out there.
