A few myths about the speedy delivery
Once upon a time there were commercials about crazy delivery drivers. Not only did they treat cargo with reckless abandon, but also had no regard for road safety. Thank goodness it was only fiction, on television.
I did notice a few eyebrows, raise a little, on that last part. Indeed, experienced couriers know where this is leading. Anyone who uses the road to make a living, has certain understandings, about the road.
It’s more than a path. It has mood swings, and times of calm. It’s always a live show. No nets, and often, no take backs. Yet, it exudes adventure and mystery.
It is a thing of ebb, and flow. Other travelers, on the road, shouldn’t be thought of as obstacles. There are also more reasons for a speed limit, than they can print on the sign, it’s not just a suggestion.
Speedy Delivery
Furthermore it is possible to have good stats, and be safety conscious, simultaneously.
By selecting routes that have fewer red lights and stops, or using traffic lights to create an advantage, the courier saves time. Likewise, with more time, there is no need for excessive speed.
With this in mind, the courier can be proactive in each delivery. Furthermore, an accepted offer is an ongoing job. Therefore visualizing each upcoming step, keeps the courier ahead. Subsequently, more time is saved.
The fast lane isn’t the only way to complete a timely delivery. Taking steps throughout the delivery, to save time on the next step in the delivery, is an excellent way to quickly and safely complete, a delivery.
Mindfulness and attention to detail, during pickups, minimizes hiccups, and saves time. Having to return to a merchant to pickup a forgotten item costs time. Therefore, minimizing distractions, is also a time saver.
With all the time that has been saved, using the techniques above, there is now plenty of time for the courier to make a speedy delivery, in the safest way possible. Stay safe out there.
